MISSION STATEMENT
The Society’s mission is to provide assistance to those in need. This may be through direct aid to individuals or assisting community organizations that address various social needs. Through helping others, we are following the directive of Christ in Matthew 25:35-40.
HISTORY
The Dorcas Missionary Society has been a part of First Baptist since the early 1900’s. The name comes from the biblical character “Dorcas” who was known for her good works.
